Halloween Boudoir Session in Orange County: Step Into Our New Spooky Set

Halloween boudoir session in Orange County, woman in black lace on a velvet sofa with a skull, spiders and candlelit lanterns

Picture black velvet, a gold mirror, a flicker of candlelight, and a soft white curtain glowing in a window right beside it. That is the set waiting at a new studio location I have been test shooting in South Orange County/Laguna Niguel. I just knew a Halloween boudoir session in Orange County would be perfect there this October and it slays!

This month I’m showing you a darker side of the studio. The spooky sessions run through Halloween, with a full session and a petite session to choose from, and I can’t wait to walk you through everything and have fun with you this season.

What a Halloween Boudoir Session in Orange County Looks Like

The set leans moody and a little witchy. Black textured walls, a tufted velvet sofa piled with soft faux fur, candles glowing in glass lanterns, a skull on a side post, and a few creepy-cute spiders that make everybody smile when they spot them. The light pools warm around the candles and lamps while the walls fall away into shadow. The next addition will be a candelabra because I love those vibes!

The dark and moody corner

This is the corner that makes people gasp. Deep black walls let skin and lace stand out, and warm lamplight puts a golden edge on everything. It is the spot for a dark and moody boudoir look with sheer black lace, red lips and glossy heels.

The bright window right beside it

White curtains soften the daylight into something airy, so you can move from candlelit drama to bright and romantic without leaving the room. That contrast shows up in some of my favorite frames from this set.

Spooky Boudoir Photoshoot Options: Full Session or Petite

You get to choose how you step into this set, and both options for this Halloween boudoir session in Orange County happen at the new studio location.

The Full Session

The full session is the complete OC Boudoir experience, with a $500 session fee and a $1,500 collection purchase. It includes hair, makeup and wardrobe, and you spend about 3 to 4 hours in the studio with my beauty team so you can settle into the chair and let us do the work. I guide every pose from the first frame to the last, so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands.

The petite boudoir session

The petite boudoir session is $695 and runs 30 minutes, and it comes with 7 images and the Retro Viewer. Hair and makeup are not part of this option, so you arrive camera ready in your own outfit, and I handle the posing and the lighting from there.

What is the Retro Viewer?

The Retro viewer is a handheld viewer you hold up to the light, and your images glow inside it, warm and private in a way a phone screen never quite manages to be. If you already own one, you can take a new reel instead and add this set to your collection, which makes it easy to build a little library of yourself, one season at a time.

What to Wear to a Halloween Boudoir Session

You do not need a costume. The set does the Halloween work for you, so your wardrobe can stay simple and flattering.

Lace in black or deep jewel tones like emerald and magenta photographs beautifully against the dark walls, and a sheer robe or skirt adds movement. Bring heels if you love them, since a pair of glossy black pumps looks incredible on velvet. If you want a playful nod to the season, a touch of spiderweb lace, black witches hat (I do have that you can borrow) or a bold lip color goes a long way, and I am happy to help you plan.

Your Laguna Niguel Boudoir Photographer in South Orange County

Laguna Niguel sits in South Orange County, tucked between Laguna Beach and Dana Point, which makes this new studio location an easy drive for women in Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Lake Forest, San Clemente and everywhere in between. My Huntington Beach studio is still home base, and this second location gives women in the south part of the county especially for this spooky set for Halloween boudoir photography without crossing the whole county.

Questions About Booking a Spooky Session

How long do the spooky sessions run?

They run all month and wrap up on Halloween, October 31st, when the set comes down.

How long is each session?

A petite session is 30 minutes, and a full session takes about 3 to 4 hours in the studio, with hair, makeup and wardrobe included.

Do I need to bring a costume?

Bring lingerie you love and let the set carry the theme.

Is a petite session a good first boudoir session?

Many women start here because it is a smaller, lower-commitment way to step in front of my camera, and I coach you through every moment.
