Boudoir Photography Privacy is one of the most important concerns women have when they first consider booking their session, and I totally get it. Boudoir photography is deeply personal. You are allowing yourself to be photographed in a vulnerable, intimate way, and you deserve to know exactly what happens to your images afterward.
The answer at OC Boudoir is simple: you are always in control.
Boudoir photography privacy is something I take seriously. While I would LOVE nothing more than to share every single picture I shoot, I understand that might not be for everyone. Every client has complete say over whether their images are shared publicly or kept entirely to themselves.
How Boudoir Photography Privacy Works at OC Boudoir
Your Choice, Always
Some clients love allowing a selection of their images to be featured on social media, on the website, or in promotional materials. It is a beautiful way to inspire other women who might be exactly where you were before you booked your session.
Other clients prefer complete privacy. They want their images only for themselves, and that is absolutely respected every single time.
Both choices are equally valid, and neither affects the quality of your experience or your images in any way. The only thing I ask is that my clients notify me in writing before their session if they want no release and privacy of their images and I am happy to line out the area of our agreement so it is clear. When I do share, it is generally mild, minimal and tasteful (well, I like to think all of my work is tasteful). Because let’s be honest Instagram wont let me show too much booty on the feed. 🍑
A Private and Secure Studio Environment
Boudoir photography privacy extends beyond just how images are shared. It also means creating a safe and secure environment during the session itself and this part means SO much to me.
The studio near Beach Boulevard and the 405 Freeway in Huntington Beach is private, clean, and designed so clients can relax completely without distractions or unwanted interruptions. Sessions are calm, professional, fun, and supported from start to finish.
You will also have your private virtual reveal appointment held over Zoom, a secure and private setting where you see your finished images for the first time. We will also reveal one more time how you feel about sharing at this appointment.
Trust Is the Foundation
Boudoir photography privacy is really about trust, and trust between a photographer and client is something that has to be earned.
My goal is for every client to feel so safe and so respected throughout this experience that they never have to think twice about their privacy. When you know your boundaries will be honored, you can fully relax into the session, and that is exactly when the most beautiful images are created and I truly appreciate every single one of my clients for trusting me with this process. I cannot say that enough!
