1. Do I have to be a certain age or body type to book a boudoir session?

Absolutely not. My sessions are designed for women 35 and up, all body types, all backgrounds, all reasons. You don’t need to change a thing about yourself to be worthy of this experience. Come as you are, I’ve got you.

2. I’m nervous. Is that normal?

Totally. Almost every client walks in feeling unsure or anxious. That’s why I’ve created a safe, supportive space where you’ll be guided through the entire process and leave feeling empowered as hell.

3. Where and when do you shoot?

I shoot most sessions at a gorgeous natural light studio in Huntington Beach, usually on weekday mornings or early afternoons. Saturday sessions can be accommodated. I also offer a few seasonal, limited-edition experiences throughout the year, and clients inside The Reclamation Room by OC Boudoir (my private Facebook group for women 35 and up) get first dibs on those.

4. I’ve never done anything like this, how do I know how to pose?

You don’t need to know how. I’ll guide you through every pose and expression, down to your fingertips and toes. This is truly a no-experience-needed kind of shoot. I’ve got you every step of the way.

5. What’s included in the session fee and what happens after I pay it?

Your session fee includes a pre-session phone consultation, professional makeup (plus the option to add hairstyling), a fully guided shoot, access to my client closet and styling tips, and all images fully retouched. After you pay your session fee, we’ll start planning your session in detail. You’ll select your image collection after you receive your final gallery.

6. Is hair and makeup included?

Professional hair and makeup is always included in the session fee. If you don’t want hairstyling, that is okay! It is included in the session fee cannot be credited is waived.

7. What should I wear, and do you help with styling?

Yes. I offer access to my client closet as well as personalized styling guidance based on your vibe, comfort level, and goals. You’ll also receive prep tips, styling guides, and suggestions. I love incorporating sweaters, robes, jerseys, button down shirts, wet tank tops, Calvin Klein sets, and even hats, sunglasses and lollypop’s as fun props.

8. Do you touch up my images, or is that extra?

All images are hand-edited and retouched at no additional cost. I’ll remove anything temporary, like bruises or blemishes, while keeping your natural beauty and features intact. This isn’t about perfection, it’s about reflection.

9. When will I see my photos and how do I choose what to order?

Your gallery will be delivered about three weeks after your session. That’s when you’ll choose your Collection (if you haven’t prepaid and any add-on products), like albums, accordion books, or retro viewers, based on the collection you select.

10. Can I keep my images private?

Absolutely. Your privacy is always my top priority. I never share any images without your written permission, and most clients choose to keep everything just for themselves or their partner. We go over everything in advance and on our mutual agreement so I have it in writing and signed.

11. Do I have to get naked?

Nope. Nudity is 100 percent optional. Some clients go topless, some wear a bodysuit the entire time, and others do a mix. It’s all about what feels good to you. Your session, your comfort zone.

12. Can I book a boudoir shoot for a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary?

Definitely. Whether you’re marking a milestone, celebrating a new chapter, or simply reconnecting with yourself, a boudoir session makes an unforgettable gift, for someone else or for you. I would suggest making sure you schedule at least 8 weeks before you need your item(s) to make sure there is enough time.
